To that end, we have established an exceptional leadership team comprised of individuals who bring a variety of healthcare experience to their positions. Our Administrators and Directors include clinicians with backgrounds ranging from nursing in the home care setting to education providers.
Janelle Henry
President
Janelle served as the administrator for one of the largest home health agencies in Texas and has served over 15 years on the executive management team of a multi-state, multi-million dollar home health and hospice firm. Active in the home health industry since 1986, Janelle has worked in all areas of home care administration including billing, payroll and accounts payable. Her current responsibilities include directing administrative and information management functions, budget planning, money disbursement, billing, payroll operations, accounts payables and receivables. Under her leadership and continued perseverance, Accolade has experienced tremendous growth, not only in census but also in the areas it serves. Janelle is a participant and advocate of John Maxwell’s Leadership Exchange training and the fiscally responsible ENTRELEADERSHIP training of Dave Ramsey. Her mission and philanthropy extends beyond the walls of the health care industry as she serves and supports numerous local and international ministries. Because of her diverse expertise, Janelle offers fiscally sound and expert management leadership. It has been said of her, “Your life and your work reflect the heart of this company.”
Larry Leahy
Finance
Colonel (RET) Larry Leahy has over 38 years of health care management experience within the military, private and academic arenas. Larry has held academic appointments from Baylor University (Assistant Professor), Trinity University, University of Minnesota, University of Texas at San Antonio and the National War College. He currently serves on the Advisory Council for the Graduate Programs in Health Sciences, Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas and is a preceptor for the University of Minnesota’s Graduate Program in Health Care Administration. He is active in publication and research and serves on numerous editorial boards. He is a sought after speaker and has presented at state, regional, and national professional association conferences on health care compliance, ergonomics, hospice management and homecare/hospice certification. Larry was the Chair of the National Association for Home Care’s Certification Committee and is the Chair of the Texas Association for Home Care and Hospice’s Finance Committee and former Chair of the Texas Homecare PAC. In addition to his membership in national and state homecare organizations, he is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals. He is serving on the board of the Accolade Hospice Foundation, Texas Association for Home Care and Hospice and has served as Executive Director of non-profit and for profit hospices. He also serves on the Best Works Advisory Council, a national homecare benchmarking program, and is on the Editorial Board of Hospital Home Health.
Cindy Broadus
Human Resources
Cindy has worked in the health care industry for over 33 years and has been in the home care industry since 1986, both in patient care and on the management and administrative side. She gained extensive experience as an Administrative Director for a large home care agency. She has also served as Regional Administrative Director of Business Operations overseeing operations for a tri-state organization. As VP of Human Resources, Cindy oversees the Human Resources and Payroll departments of multiple corporations.
Brenda Beggs
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs
Brenda is responsible for keeping abreast of current federal regulations and government policies and is on top of regulatory changes that effect the home health and hospice industry. With 21 years of home care experience, Brenda’s knowledge helps develop polices and processes that affect day to day operations as well as long term business planning. Brenda is able to initiate change and achieve results in the ever evolving climate of OASIS, PPS and Home Health/Hospice Nursing. Brenda continually works on current and impending state and federal policy issues and their impact on the home health and hospice industry.
